Great news! Your consultation has been successfully booked

Next steps

Check your email. You should have received a confirmation from Calendly with:

  • A copy of the information you provided in the booking form

  • A link for our Zoom meeting and dial-in options

  • Options to cancel or reschedule our time

Need to reschedule? That’s no problem – things happen. In your confirmation email from Calendly, you will see a link to reschedule near the bottom of the message. As a courtesy, I ask that you initiate the rescheduling process as soon as you know you need to change our appointment time. Once our original meeting time has elapsed, the window to schedule is closed.

During our Zoom call

I look forward to connecting with you! Here is what you can expect from our call together:

  • You’ll have the option to have our session recorded for later playback.
  • I’ll also prepare charts referenced in our call.
  • After our consultation, I’ll email you download links for the recording and charts. These downloads expire, so save them at your earliest convenience.
  • Not comfortable with recording? No worries – I always ask before recording, and you’re welcome to decline.

Preparing for our session

If there is a timeline of relevant events that might be helpful for me to know, as is often the case with accidents or illnesses, consider collecting that information prior to our call. As much specificity as you can find (i.e., not only date, but time also), the better.

Natal consultations and private tutoring. Give some thought to what you’d like to learn in our session – clients tend to have a better experience when they come with some idea of what they’d like to discuss. It’s not too different from approaching any other type of advisor – doctors, counsellors, and financial advisors do their best work when they know where the need is.

Horary consultations. If you had trouble wording your question, don’t worry – it will take shape when it’s meant to. With two questions (“Where should we begin?” and “What do you need to know to move forward or take your next steps?”), the question tends to emerge organically. Keep in mind that I am not a fortune-teller, and can only give you a sense of what the astrological themes have to say about the situation under review. This does mean that I have to communicate disappointing news from time to time – I ask that you come to our session prepared to engage with whatever the chart shows, in a spirit of openness and earnestness.

Electional consultations and child’s birth chart interpretations. Our Zoom call will be a short intake session, possibly concluding before our full 30 minutes have elapsed. In our intake, I’ll confirm that I have all the details needed to do the work accurately and with the highest quality. Most of the analysis happens after our call. I’ll follow up by email within 2 weeks (sometimes sooner).

A note on privacy and case studies

As an astrologer, I occasionally develop case studies to showcase the power of astrology to prospective clients and students. Here’s how I handle this:

  • I may reference horary or electional charts from our consultation for teaching purposes.
  • This is always done anonymously, with all personal details removed.
  • I only use charts I’ve personally cast or developed.
  • Your natal chart belongs to you – I’ll never use it without your written permission.

Case studies written for prospective clients

Client consultations are at the heart of my practice, anchoring an active writing, teaching, and speaking schedule. My clients come from all walks of life, and verified reviews are available for review on my TrustPilot. Below are eleven demonstrations of my work in horary astrology, touching on a number of subjects and ranging in complexity.

The client managed a family business and was the sole executor of her father’s will and trust. Her nephew, feeling slighted in his share, decided to take my client to court to challenge the will, stating that my client had been stealing money from the family estate. Though the claims were baseless, and my client felt she could prove it, she said she felt like a “walking cloud of doom” and needed to know whether astrology could provide her any confidence as she moved toward her arbitration date.

From the positions of the planets I judged the father’s will to be stronger than the challenges it faced, and that the arbiter would find in her favor. I did suggest to her that her nephew did not appear to be working alone, that he was aided by someone else in the family, and that her sisters were somehow involved. The chart shows an ending surrounded by grief and pain, and moderate financial loss, too. I interpreted this to mean that, while my client would successfully clear her name, the judge would be harsh in manner and some of that will land on her. Specifically, I said she should expect to pay legal expenses out of the trust for all parties.

The client contacted me after arbitration to say that she had successfully defended her position and the arbiter settled the matter to her satisfaction. She told me that the nephew was joined in arbitration by his cousin (her niece), and both of their mothers (i.e., my client’s sisters). The bank manager was able to provide complete records dating back over a decade, showing no impropriety on my client’s part.

With no genuine evidence to present, the arbiter dismissed the case with prejudice, which meant the charges couldn’t be refiled. The arbiter ordered the court and legal fees to be paid from the nephew and niece’s share of the trust. They lost 80% of what they would have inherited had they not engaged my client in legal action.

The client said that there were some days that were almost unbearable for her – but she would return to our consultation regularly to find strength to carry her forward. She said the consultation helped her feel confident about her trust in the bank manager, and helped her prepare for the long-term grief families often go through after nasty court battles.
